About Julie

I was a professional Dancer Musical Theatre Performer in West End shows and television. I trained in Ballet-tap-and Jazz at Arts Educational London a professional performing arts school. I worked professionally on TV and stage (West End shows) from a child and I still dance and perform now when the occasional job comes up.

At the end of 2023 I danced in the new Paddington movie for Jennifer White the choreographer of the Barbie movie. My own Pilates fitness enables me to still dance and move well.

I started to do Pilates in early 2000 to rehab my back and found the results so inspiring I trained to teach it myself. Pilates really is the foundation for everything in your life. My classes are very popular. I’m hot on technique but also make it enjoyable. I work for 4 centres as well as my own classes.

I have been teaching Pilates since 2010 and still have a passion for teaching it. I have a vast knowledge and experience in the method. I have taught in Spain and UK, and also spent time studying in South Africa.

I pride myself on responding to clients needs , both physical and mental, those rebuilding as well as those already fit.

I am level 3 in Matt and Reformer, Pre and Post on both. I currently also teach in a Pilates Reformer studio. It is wonderful to see people on their wellness journey and I truly believe in my motto ‘Invest in your Future Health’.
